For the Ones We Lost. For the Ones Still Here.

I didn’t design this jacket to start a trend.
I designed it because I’m tired.
Tired of the statistics.
Tired of the silence.
Tired of seeing our women go missing with no justice.
Tired of feeling like we’re invisible.
This drop the Protect Indigenous Women set is about acknowledging every woman who was taken and every one of us still here. It’s about being seen. It’s about being sacred.
Because we are.
I made the jacket a windbreaker for a reason:
I want it to be SEEN.
I want people to wear it outside, not underneath a coat where it disappears.
Our women are NOT meant to be hidden.
I chose blue to stay aligned with my brand the Mahsì Books dreamcatcher is blue but honestly, I’ve been thinking… maybe a red version should exist too.
For the ones we’ve lost.
For the blood spilled.
For the urgency of it all.
This drop matters to me.
Because I am an Indigenous woman.
Because I knew someone who became one of the MMIW.
My friend. I loved her.
I hate that it took something like this for the message to hit so hard but it did. And now I’ll keep saying it, with every product, every post, every story:
We are sacred.
We deserve protection.
We deserve justice.
We deserve to come home.
When you wear this jacket, you're not just making a statement
You're joining a movement.
Mahsì, for seeing us.
Mahsì, for wearing the message.
Mahsì, for not looking away.
