My Journey As An Indigenous Entrepreneur
Share
I never imagined I’d one day become an author and entrepreneur.
But looking back, I realize this was always my purpose.
Growing up, I saw how easily our stories, our languages, and our cultures could be lost. I saw how generational trauma shaped our families in ways we couldn’t always understand. And I knew deep down that I wanted to do something about it & not just for me, but for my children and my community.
That’s how Mahsì Books was born.
It started with a passion for preserving Indigenous language. Then it grew into publishing children's books, creating educational tools, designing cultural apparel, and building something far bigger than I ever imagined.
Being an Indigenous entrepreneur isn’t always easy but it’s powerful.
Because every time I create, I’m reclaiming space.
I’m honoring my ancestors.
And I’m building a legacy that my children will be proud of.
Mahsì. Thank you for being part of this journey with me.
