What Mahsì Means to Me” Gratitude, Growth, and Staying Grounded

When I chose the name "Mahsì Books," I didn’t just choose a brand name. I chose a prayer. A vibration. A daily reminder.

"Mahsì" means "thank you" in Tłı̨chǫ. But to me, it’s always been more than that.

It means thank you to the ones who came before me. Thank you to the ones walking beside me. Thank you to my children, my future self, my dreams still becoming.

This past week, life got a little loud. A little heavy. A little real. I took a step back from posting and from creating content. Not because I wasn’t inspired, but because I wanted to stay connected to my why.

And every time I paused, the word returned: Mahsì.

Thank you for the stillness. Thank you for the lessons. Thank you for the vision that hasn’t let go of me even when I wanted to quit.

Mahsì Books is rooted in gratitude. Every blog post, every book, every design I drop is infused with that same energy. Whether it’s a language learning story, a windbreaker that speaks truth, or a journal to hold your dreams, it all comes from the same place:

A heart that refuses to forget where it came from.
